AIR FORCE SCHOOL KANPUR CANTT ANNUAL SCHOOL REPORT 2024-25

 

Air Force School Kanpur Cantt was established in 1980 with 50 students and 3 teachers, ince its inception the school has grown by leaps and bounds.
It is a great honour to present the School Annual Report 2024-25. With great enthusiasm, zeal, passion and confidence, we stepped into the refreshing session of 2024-25. Our endeavour to impart education is to enhance our students potential and personality by providing opportunities that promote social, emotional, cultural, mental and physical growth and to inculcate the attitude of learning, morally upright, work for

amelioration of society and bring laurels to the school. Most important is our School Board Result. 44 students appeared in class X AISSE 2024-25 Examination and 32 students appeared in CLASS XII AISSCE Examination 2024-25. The school achieved 100% result in class-X and achieved 95.6% and class XII 95.5% result in AISSCE Examination2024-25.

Air Force School students are equipped to access the best opportunities of growth and advancement by being prepared linguistically and culturally for them. The school provides the students with a comprehensive academic curriculum supported by a system of instruction that encourages the thought process and reasoning, which would gear the children to be logical, analytical, critical, creative, innovative and communicative.

Students learn through teacher instruction and group activities. Seminars and workshops also form an integral part of the School Curriculum. Teachers use a student-centred style which instils confidence, initiative, and the development of critical and analytical skills.

The year gone by had varied initiatives - some to be replicated, some modified and some replaced. Session 2018-19 also started with interhouse competitions. A plethora of scholastic and co-scholastic activities like elocution, declamation, dancing, singing, quiz competitions, fancy dress, and many other competitions were conducted throughout the year. A Brain O Brain Olympiad was conducted by Wonderkid on 02 October 2018. Around 97 students participated. Out of 97 students, 11 students won gold medal, 10 silver medal, 08 students won achievers certificate and 68 students got merit certificate for participation.

  • 01 STUDENT WON SILVER MEDAL IN HIGH JUMP AND BRONZE MEDAL IN 200M AND Ms. NANDINI SINGH WON SILVER MEDAL IN HIGH JUMP.   PRAJVAL SB SINGH HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR ALL INDIA AIR FORCE SCHOOLS’ ATHLETICS AND SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2024.

Several activities are conducted regularly in Pre-primary classes like fruits day, salad day and many more. Craft activities are conducted on every Friday, Various clubs like soft toys, non-fire cooking, art and craft, best out of waste, aerobics, computer club, collage work, gardening, non-fire cooking etc. are also conducted twice a week. Students used to make projects in all subjects in order to have a better understanding of the subject.

NCC was introduced in the school curriculum from 08 Sept 2014. Today, we have 100 students enrolled as NCC cadets. 14 Cadets participated in CATC 181 from 01 May 18 to 10 May 18 held at Old Regiment, Kanpur. 10 Cadets participated in CATC -183 from 04 June 08 to 13 June 18 held at Old Regiment, Kanpur. 27 Cadets participated in CATC-191 from 07 Aug to 16 Aug 18 held at Old Regiment, Kanpur and 04 Cadets participated in CATC 196 from 27 September 18 to 06 October 18 held at Old Regiment, Kanpur. Apart from this, NCC cadets also participated in various activities like tree plantation, International Yoga Day, NCC day, Route March, Wreath laying ceremony, Swachchta Abhiyaan and many other Socio Cultural Activities.


Apart from scholastic and co-scholastic activities, our students contributed a lumpsum amount for the Air Flag Day. The school celebrated the festivals of Rakshabandhan, Dussehra, Diwali, Basant Panchmi, Holi, mother's day etc. in the school and conducted activities. The school also celebrated Hindi Pakhwada, Tobbacco Day, Earth Day, etc. The entire team will work towards achieving this and we will seek the support of all parents in our endeavour to excel.

We are fortunate to have an experienced and considerate Chairman, School Management Committee whose blessings, guidance and keen interest in the affairs of the school has helped the school in its fast growth.

I am thankful to the chairman and the members of the School Management Committee for their continuous help for the smooth running of school. I thank the teachers and other staff members who put in their best of efforts to ensure good education and helped me in day to day running of the school. I thank the parents, members of the press and public at large for their help and goodwill to the school.

May God continue to bless each child, the staff, in fact the entire Air Force School family, with His choicest blessings. May we continue to work as a united team and take our school higher still! Each year lays the foundation for ideas in the year to come. The coming year will be defining and significant. Hard to believe that we have finally reached this threshold.
